A TALE OF TWO DADS
Happy Father’s Day to the two men who made me who I am.
We just wrapped up Aspen’s first season with the Pueblo Rangers. Here’s two videos shot from my perspective.
So I gave Cooper, my twelve year-old son, the same raw footage I used to create a video about the time I taught him how to swim. This is his version.
On an overnight trip to Denver last August, we hopped in the pool to beat the heat. Lo and behold, Aspen learned to swim.
Our little bobblehead holds her head up. One of many firsts in the Life of Aspen.
I got another Dad’s Day Off. This time, I took Ridge on a six-miler to Harvard Lake just outside Buena Vista.
It was getting hot in Pueblo so Chelsea rallied the troops and we took the kids tubing on the Arkansas River in Canon City.
We talked a lot about becoming a Dad, how the process has changed us for the better. It has given us a chance to right the wrongs of the past.
