The Life of Ford Granada
It’s a double-header Saturday morning and Aspen is playing with the Pueblo Rangers Soccer Club. It’s her last season on the recreational team before making it on the competitive team. Cooper has a co-starring role in this one. He makes his debut as a referee for the league.
In June 1965, my granddad embarked on a road trip across West Texas, documenting it with Kodak slides that remained hidden for decades. I recently restored the images and was inspired to retrace the journey with my own family in 2024, where I rendezvoused with Uncle Skipper in Terlingua.

Celebrating Independence Day 1958, John Lester Yates Jr. documented a weekend camping trip with his 8mm camera. He and his family camped at Lake Travis and spent a day swimming and exploring Hamilton Pool. I recently restored the film in my home studio.
