TIME TO SET SAIL

After a crazy month in Arkansas we have finally set sail. We had a great time visiting family but other than that, our visit there was a lot of work.

We needed to make several modifications to our new rig but the brunt of our responsibilities were focused on the cabin. Our cabin has been on the market, and vacant, for an entire year. It was under contract during February and March, but then COVID-19 hit and the prospective buyer lost his job and, therefore, lost his VA loan. So we had to shoot out of Oregon (another saga) and get down to Arkansas and do some much-needed maintenance and repairs to the cabin, and get a new realtor on the job.

So we landed in Arkansas and banged out what we needed to bang out and after just three weeks, the cabin is now under contract (thank you, Marcie!) – set to close in July – now it’s time to head out and resume our adventures on the road.
